I can't recall having such awful food anywhere else in the recent past.but they out done themselves here. Everyone in our party was still game and had enjoyed vegetarian meals before though we are all carnivores. We were aware of this going in, not because it is marketed as such but because other reviewers have complained about the lack of transparency. 45 minutes in we really couldn't leave soon enough. The dinner conversation halfway through the meal was about where we were going to eat dinner at afterwards. I do not plan on coming back as there is too much risk in whether the courses will be good. If you don't have a sweet tooth or eat generally very healthy, I would recommend this place only hesitantly or not at all (given the price). I used my hands on almost everything, even when it was not recommended, and it was a great experience. It was a very tactile experience and I strangely noticed one item that I could not identify by eating, but once I touched it I immediately knew what it was. Some of the beginning courses were outstanding, though. I haven't had anything that sweet in years.

Had I had the ability to order to choose items, I would never had chosen anything that sweet. #6 and #7 were so sweet as to be inedible for me I could not handle more than a couple bites of each.
